Her current research interests include professional development in teaching and learning in higher education, research ethics in teaching and learning, learning spaces, and the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning. She is currently working on an international project focussing on assessment in large first year classes in HE, and the influence of learning spaces on teaching practice.
Laura completed a BA in Applied Psychology in UCC in 2010. She went on to earn a PhD in Applied Psychology (2017). The focus of her PhD was reading fluency development among monolingual and bilingual primary school children.
Biography
Dr Laura Lee is the Research Support Officer in the Centre for the Integration of Research, Teaching and Learning (CIRTL). In this role she is responsible for the identification and development of research initiatives, and provides support for the national and international research projects CIRTL is a partner on. She also coordinates new initiatives enacted by the CIRTL team.Her current research interests include professional development in teaching and learning in higher education, research ethics in teaching and learning, learning spaces, and the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning.
