 Description

We, the Internet (WTI) Project - UCC Principal Investigator and invited stakeholder on this global consultation project "We, the Internet", coordinated by Missions Publiques (https://missionspubliques.org/?lang=en). Recipient of CUBS Research Impact Award. The Internet has revolutionized human relationships and society to such a point that it is being perceived as the space enabling a society of freedom and equality between all Human beings. However, as humanity benefits from these advances, drawbacks appear. The security of Internet users, addiction, digital identity and disinformation are all subjects on which political decisions must be taken that will steer the future of the Internet and beyond.

Horizon Europe Missions - Facilitator for a EU Commission sponsored online consultation involving 50 Irish citizens. Missions aims to engage citizens in co-designing, co-creating, co-implementing and co-assessing innovation in public sector capabilities.

Journey Mapping Consultant - I have advised senior academics in Liverpool University, University of South Florida, and Newcastle University who sought to use our journey mapping tool to understand patient and family experience. I provided advice for journey mapping in different healthcare contexts such as end of life for patients with head and neck cancer (HNC). I have also advised staff in Cork University Dental School on the potential of journey mapping for understanding the experiences of autistic children during dental appointments.
