Biography:
Sarah joined UCC's Coastal and Marine Research Centre (CMRC) in 2010 working as a research scientist on various EU funded coastal and marine management projects including PISCES, COEXIST, SUSTAIN, COEXIST, and OSS2015. She also contributes to the maintenance of the Marine Irish Digital Atlas (MIDA), an online directory of marine and coastal zone resources. Prior to this position, Sarah worked with the International Cooperation Unit of the Irish Marine Institute, operating an EU Desk and Information Service, publishing directories and providing advice and training to researchers to maximise Irish participation in competitive EU funded marine programmes. In addition to this, Sarah has over 10 years of management expertise in the retail, hospitality and education sector.
