BIOGRAPHY
Dr. Ju Xu is an Ircset-Marie Curie Research Fellow co-funded by IRCSET and EU Marie Cuire Action. she has broad interests in the application of nanomaterials in different areas. Currently, she is focusing her research on: Biosensors, Microfluidics, Electrochemical Storages, Nanopackaging and Nanoelectronic Components. She received her Ph. D. degree in Materials Chemistry from University of College Cork, Ireland, in 2008 with the thesis of "preparation, characterization and application of nanostructured thermoelectronic materials. Dr. Xu received her M. Sc. degrees from the Chinese Academy of Sciences in the major of Materials Chemistry in 2001. Dr. Xu was a recipient of Enterprise Ireland funded proof of concept project (Ultra High Density Integrated Capacitors) as a co-PI. She has more than 15 publications including 10 peer reviewed journal publications, 2 book chapters and 3 other type of publications. Those publications have attracted more than 100 citations.
