Biography
Dr Ronan Hennessy is a Senior Technical Officer in the School of Biological, Earth & Environmental Sciences at UCC.
A geologist with interests in GIS and geoheritage, Ronan has worked on research and development projects with EU Commission, national, local government and private sector organisations, as well as Irish and overseas universities, education providers, and community development groups. Ronan has published work and provided services on projects including 3D visualisation, geological heritage, landscape archaeology, science education, Irish language planning, artisanal food production, environmental planning policy, species surveying, habitats directive and landscape character assessments, renewable energies, tourism, sustainable agriculture and conservation, public health, and industrial and mining heritage.
