  - An edition and translation of three poems from the early career of the renowned Donegal bardic poet, Fearghal Óg Mac an Bhaird (fl. 1550-1630). Two of the poems are religious (and are found uniquely in National Library of Scotland MS 72.2.14), and one is addressed to Domhnall Mac Suibhne Fánad (died 1618). The article also includes a study of Domhnall's poembook (duanaire) in Royal Irish Academy MS 24 P 25, which involves an analysis of the division of hands and of the identity of some of the scribes.
