Location In the churchyard at Bakewell.
Dimensions 8' high, by 21'' wide, and 15'' thick.

GeneralDescription This cross is dated to the late eighth century.
GeneralDescription This shows the very bottom of the east face of the cross, close to the base. There is the detail of a bow pointing up, of the type used by Saxon archers, but the man who would have been preparing to fire it is now lost.
