The training programme was facilitated by national and international leaders in implementation science including Byron Powell, Rachel Shelton, Rinad Beidas, Geoff Curran, Justin Presseau, Jonathon Purtle, Bianca Albers, Sheena McHugh, Michael Sykes and Jenny Mc Sharry.

The Implementation Science Training Institute (ISTI) is a blended training programme. Participants completed online training modules from February to July, and then participated in a series of in-person activities including:
Lectures from leaders in the field with case studies focusing on application of concepts, theories and methods.
Small group work and project feedback from our expert facilitators 
Networking Seminar
Q&A and panel discussions with international experts 
 Mentoring opportunities 
The Implementation Science Training Institute (ISTI) is funded by the Health Research Board Research Leader Award held by Dr Sheena McHugh, Senior Lecturer at the School of Public Health and programme director.
