Federal Ministry of Livestock Development in Nigeria two-day Expert Group Meeting high-level stakeholder’s engagement, with a focus to address challenges in Nigeria’s livestock sector—such as low productivity, disease, and weak value chains—by leveraging science, technology, and innovation. The meeting gathers policymakers, researchers, industry, and development partners to critically review the Nigeria Livestock Growth Accelerated Strategy (NL-GAS), co-develop actionable pathways for sector transformation, and establish a support mechanism for the ministry.
