The purpose of the challenge was to identify, research and design a sustainable enterprise within UCC that could move the needle further on achieving meaningful sustainability. I delivered an overview of what the SDGs mean, how they were formed, how Ireland/EU is performing and why they are important for researchers (funding, collaborations, communicating impact).
