Recurring "Persian Leopard Regional Workshops" is conceptualized, launched and managing by Dr. Arezoo Sanei since January 2013. So far, four rounds of these workshops have been held in Alborz, Boushehr, Golestan, Lorestan, North Khorasan, Razavi Khorasan, Sistan and Balouchestan, South Khorasan, Tehran, and West Azarbaijan Provinces in Persian language. During the COVID pandemic, online courses were also held. To ensure that a diverse array of stakeholders is addressed, each round includes multiple workshops in various target disciplines in different regions, as determined by the designated topic. Topics and target groups are selected according to the need assessments conducted regularly by the Asian Leopard Specialist Society. The templates of these courses are renowned for their ability to effectively influence wildlife conservation and management strategies in Iran.
