This seminar was hosted by the Institute for Historic and Social Research, UV. The research seminar entitled ‘Experiences of Ireland, Mexico and Colombia: Migrants, Refugees and Political Asylum’ included contributions from Dr. Claire Dorrity, UCC; Dr. Carlos A. Garrido, UV, Mexico; and Dr. Camilo Forero, CORPAS por Venezuela, Columbia. The seminar provided a space for reflection on issues affecting the health and welfare of refugees, social service responses and the implementation of refugee policy. [Invited Lectures (Conference)].
