The film outlines stages of a project involving the translation/adaptation of leading Swiss dramatist, Thomas Hürlimann's Das Einsiedler Welttheater, a spectacular piece of apocalyptic theatre designed for community performance in Einsiedeln (Switzerland) over the summer of 2007 where it attracted audiences of some 60.000 people. The first English-language performances took place at University College Cork (Ireland) in November/December 2010.
