Cork Learning City (CLC) continues to shine as a model of best practice—and proudly remains the world’s only two-time UNESCO Learning City Award Winner. This year, Cork celebrates the 21stCorkLifelongLearningFestival. From 22–29 April 2026, more than 400 community learning events will take place across the city, showcasing Cork’s vibrant culture of lifelong learning. CLC is a proud partnership between Cork City Council, Cork Education and Training Board, Munster Technological University (MTU), and University College Cork (UCC).

Wearing my Toastmasters International hat, I’m delighted to share that our Toastmasters Guardian Club at UCC will host a special demonstration meeting on Tuesday, 28 April (19:30–21:00) in the O’Rahilly Building, UCC Main Campus.
