This module will familiarise students with some of the following themes central to the study of Criminology :theoretical advances in contemporary Criminology; abolitionism and critical criminology; desistance and reintegration; feminist Criminology; Criminalisation of social policy; mental health and anti-psychiatry; criminalisation of borders and migration; young people and crime; critical legal studies; socio-legal jurisprudence and rights theory.
