The aim of the module is to enable students to gain practical experience of teaching, learning and assessment in a post-primary school; to assist students in developing classroom management skills in the post-primary school environment; to assist students to develop an understanding and knowledge of pedagogical approaches, including digital pedagogies; to promote the integration of theory, research and practice in classroom teaching; to equip students to become reflective practitioners; to develop students' linguistic competence; to create awareness of contemporary curricula.
