Description
"Film-poems" are creative fragments of poetic text or speech accompanied by video and sound. Film poetry might also be referred to as "video poetry", "digital poetry", "multimedia poetry", or using any terminology which reinforces the form's explicit combination of poetry and video.
Film poetry belongs to the wider field of digital literature, which N. Katherine Hayles defines in her book, Electronic Literature: New Horizons for the Literary, as "a first-generation digital object created on a computer and (usually) meant to be read on a computer".
