Narrative
I co-authored the Trials multicentre randomised controlled trial evaluating digital fetal scalp stimulation (dFSS) as an alternative to fetal blood sampling (FBS) for assessing fetal wellbeing during labour. The study has been cited in a Cochrane systematic review on fetal scalp stimulation for assessing fetal wellbeing during labour.Cochrane reviews play an important role in informing clinical guidelines and evidence-based obstetric practice internationally. This citation demonstrates contribution to the evidence base shaping clinical decision-making on intrapartum fetal monitoring and potentially reducing invasive interventions during labour.
