Narrative
My co-authored research on the economic and health-related quality-of-life impacts of recurrent miscarriage care in Ireland was included in Health Service Executive’s National Clinical Practice Guideline on Recurrent Miscarriage (2023), developed by the National Women and Infants Health Programme and the Institute of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists. The research contributed evidence on patient quality of life, healthcare utilisation, financial burden and workplace impacts associated with recurrent miscarriage (see p18 of report). The guideline supports standardised evidence-based care across maternity services in Ireland and informs clinicians, patients and support organisations nationally.
