Biography
Dr David Jones is the Lecturer in Sustainable Organic Synthesis in the School of Chemistry, University College Cork. David's research and teaching focus is in the area of organic chemistry - with a particular focus on the synthesis and applications of organophosphorus compounds. Current projects in the research team are exploring new methods for the synthesis of P-stereogenic compounds, new sustainable catalytic approaches to valuable organophosphorus compounds and new applications of 31P NMR spectroscopy for the study of chemical reactions.
