Biography
Emilio J. Palacios-García is a Research Fellow at the Sustainability Institute of University College Cork (UCC) and the Research Ireland Centre for Energy, Climate, and Marine Research (MaREI), Ireland.
Before joining UCC, he was a Postdoctoral Research Associate and Marie Skłodowska-Curie SoE fellow at KU Leuven, Belgium (2020-2024), and a Postdoctoral Researcher at Aalborg University, Denmark (2018-2020).
He holds a PhD degree in Advanced Computation and Energy (2018), a MSc degree in Distributed Renewable Energies (2013), and a BEng in Industrial Electronic Engineering (2012, 2014) from the University of Córdoba, Spain.
He has co-authored 58 publications in peer-reviewed international journals, conferences, and books with a h-index of 20 (see Google Scholar). He is also a Senior Member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE).
