Biography

My background is Nursing which includes General (including Intensive care and Accident and Emergency) Midwifery, Pediatrics and Infection Prevention and Control. I have also worked in Clinical Trials in the Clinical Research Centre on secondment from the HSE. I completed a Master in Public Health in 2010 and a Master of Arts in Teaching and Learning in Higher Education in 2015, focusing on E-Learning and the student's perspective. I teach Health Protection modules which are campus-based and online to undergraduate and postgraduate students in the School of Public Health and School of Medicine. I am undertaking a PhD in 2019 as a part-time PhD student on the SPHeRE Programme.
