Biography
Fiona Dukelow is a senior lecturer in social policy and research associate with the Institute for Social Science in the 21st Century. She is co-director of the Masters in Social Policy and Social Justice (Online) and co-academic director of the Adult Continuing Education Diploma in Environment, Climate and Sustainability. She was previously director of the Bachelor of Social Science degree, 2018-2023.
Research Interests
Research interests include the lived experience of social policy and welfare reform, and eco-social policy, particularly from a post-growth perspective. This builds on long-standing interests in the areas of activation and social protection policy, as well as in the areas of welfare austerity, welfare states in crisis and neoliberalism.
