Huanhuan Xiong

Dr. Huanhuan Xiong received a B.S. in Economics from Wuhan University of Technology (Wuhan, China) in 2004, and a M.S. in Software Engineering and a PhD in Geographic Information System (GIS) from Wuhan University (Wuhan, China) in 2006 and 2012. She worked in IC4 (Irish Centre for Cloud Computing & Commerce) for three years, and she have the expertise in cloud migration, cloud architecture, cloud interoperability and scalability. She is currently working on CloudLightning project as a senior postdoctoral researcher, which is funded by the European Commission’s Horizon 2020 Programme for Research and Innovation.

Huanhuan Xiong's research interests are including but not limited to: Cloud Architecture, Game Theory Applications in Computer Science, Self-organised Self-optimised System, and Geographic Information System. Currently, she is a work package (WP4 Self-organisation and Self-management) leader of H2020 Funded CloudLightning Project.

Huanhuan Xiong's teaching interests are including but not limited to: Micro-controller in C programming, Cloud Computing, Software-oriented Architecture, Software Engineering and Systems Organisation. Currently, she is taking the Teaching and Learning in Higher Education (for third level teachers) Online Course in UCC (Postgraduate Certificate and Diploma).
