Biography
Jane Bourke is a Professor of Economics in Cork University Business School. She is Senior Research Associate at the Enterprise Research Centre, Warwick Business School, UK, and a founding member of the Spatial & Regional Economics Research Centre, UCC.
Her research interests include Innovation, Technology Adoption, Workplace Well-being, Business Performance, and Health Economics. Jane’s research has been funded by the Irish Research Council, Science Foundation Ireland, Economic & Social Research Council (UK), Health Research Board, among others.
Her work is published in highly ranked journals such as Research Policy, Technovation, Journal of Business Research, Health Policy, and European Journal of Health Economics. She regularly presents her work at national and international conferences (including DRUID, BAM, IHEA and IEA), and has received research awards for her work.
Jane is Head of Graduate Studies in the College of Business & Law, and CUBS Director of Postgraduate Research.
