Biography
Jennifer Cooney-Quane is a Research Associate in the School of Applied Psychology, University College Cork.
Jennifer received a BSc Public Health and Health Promotion in 2011, a HDip Psychology in 2018, and an MA Applied Psychology (Mental Health) in 2019, from University College Cork.
Jennifer's PhD research, in the field of psychoneuroimmunology, explored the realtionship between anxiety, systemic inflammation, and gut microbiota during adolescence and emerging adulthood.
Jennifer is currently working on research exploring diagnostic delays and healthcare interactions, and the use of digital symptom tracking in women's health, funded by Lero, the Research Ireland Centre for Software.
