Biography

Lecturer in Education

Julia Collins is a lecturer in the School of Education at University College Cork (UCC), specialising in second language pedagogy, plurilingualism, and teacher education. Her work focuses on supporting the development of teacher knowledge and multilingual competencies in primary and post-primary education. As a teacher educator, Julia contributes to the professional preparation of future educators and acts as a school placement tutor for post-primary teaching students in both English-medium and Irish-medium settings.
