Teaching Activities

My teaching interests are in the area of epidemiology, health promotion and dental public health. My focus is tooth wear, the prevention of dental caries and the use of fluorides in caries prevention. I have completed the Postgraduate Diploma in Teaching and Learning in Higher Education. I coordinate the First Year of the BDS and BDS Graduate Entry programmes. I am module coordinator on Modules OH1001, OH1002, OH2001, OH6001, OH6001 and OH6003. I teach to both undergraduate and postgraduate students: Modules: EH6025, EH6051, OH1001, OH1002, OH2001, OH4003, OH5002, OH6001, OH6002, OH6003, OH7017, OH7018, PL2034. I am currently supervising three PhD students, five MDPH students and one MSc student
