Biography
Dr. Noeleen Brady is a Senior Research Coordinator in the School of Nursing and Midwifery, University College Cork, with over a decade of experience in psychological and health services research. Her research focuses on healthcare workforce wellbeing, patient safety, and person-centered care for vulnerable populations.
She has played a lead role in the operational and strategic management of several large-scale national and international projects. This includes the Safe Nurse Staffing and Skill-Mix project (funded by the HRB), which directly informed Irish national health policy, and the Magnet4Europe study (funded by Horizon 2020), a multi-country trial improving clinician mental health.
Currently, she is the Senior Research Coordinator for the In-Touch project (Horizon Europe funded), leading an international cluster-randomised controlled trial across seven countries to implement a palliative care intervention for people with advanced dementia in nursing homes. Her expertise includes implementation science, large-scale consortium management, clinical trial coordination, and quantitative data analysis. Dr. Brady is a member of the UCC Research Staff Committee and is committed to fostering peer support and mentorship within the research community.
