Clinical Immunology Training ; St. James Hospital Dublin; Churchill Hospital, Oxford, UK and West Midlands Regional Immunology Training Scheme ( Heartlands Hospital, Birmingham, University of Birmingham), 1991 - 1997. Clinical Research Fellow and Honorary Lecturer, University of Birmingham, 1997 - 2000. Senior Clinical Tutor / Lecturer in Medicine Cork University Hospital, 2000 - 2003. Lecturer in Medicine / Locum Consultant Physician UCC and Cork University Hospital 2003 - 2005. Senior Lecturer in Medicine and Consultant Physician UCC and Cork University Hospital, 2005 - October 2016. Professor in Medicine (Lead Clinical Education) and Consultant Physician, November 2016 - August 2018.
