Dr. Qingsong Liu is a Marie Skłodowska Curie Fellow and Senior Research Fellow at University College Cork. He received his PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Shanghai for Science and Technology in 2024. He is the Principal Investigator of projects funded by the Marie Skłodowska Curie Actions (MSCA) of the European Union and the Government of Ireland Postdoctoral (GOIPD) Fellowship of the Irish Research Council. His research focuses on advanced numerical and analytical modelling in offshore renewable energy, including floating wind turbines, hybrid wave and wind systems, and energy storage integration. He has served as a reviewer for more than 35 international journals in renewable energy and related fields.
