Biography
Dr Raigal-Aran has a clinical, research and teaching background. She has a BA in General Nursing (level 8) and a BA in Psychology (level 8). She finalized a Master in Research in Nursing Sciences (level 9) and a PhD in Nursing and Health (2019). In the last 6 years she has been combining her clinical practice with research and teaching. The combination of the 3 areas gave her a big knowledge and understanding which she applied to promote better practices in each of her roles in each institution. She obtained several research prizes which encouraged and motivated her to proceed with her research career. Her current role is as a Research Assistant in a project funded by the Irish Cancer Society (WHI19CON) and sponsored by the University College of Cork (R19258).
