Biography

Formerly an Associate Professor at the University of Sao Paulo, Brazil, she joined the School of Computer Science and Information Technology, UCC in 2019/2020. She has been involved in the field of Data visualization most of her professional life and is currently researching Data Analytics, AI and visualization as well as applications. Applications include natural environmental monitoring through soundscape ecology, language modelling and its societal impact, cultural analytics, ageing applications, and biomarker identification for cancer.
