Research Interests
My research focuses on understanding how bacteria and fungi adapt to different environments, with the aim of exploiting this knowledge for biotechnological applications and development of novel therapies for disease. This research employs a mixture of biochemistry, microbial physiology, microbial ecology, highthroughput screening, enzyme/protein modelling, functional genomics and mult-omics to explore how bacteria and fungi sense and adapt to the world.
I am currently a postdoctoral researcher with Prof. Massey as part of APC and the School of Microbiology
