Biography

Dr Sarah Robinson is a lecturer in the School of Applied Social Studies, UCC. Sarah is a socio-cultural psychologist with an interdiscplinary background. Sarah completed her BA in History, Politics and Social studies from the University of Limerick, her MA in Comparative Ethnic Conflict from Queens University Belfast, and both her higher diploma and PhD in Applied Psychology at UCC, Ireland. She worked as a postdoctoral and senior postdoctoral researcher, and lectured in SETU, UCD and the School of Applied Psychology, UCC, before joining the School of Applied Social Studies in 2025. Current research interests focuses on responsibility in software design, development and use; experiences of health and social care; sustainability of place, and creative qualitative methods.
