Biography

Steven is a Certified Athletic Therapist and a Research Assistant in the Department of General Practice in UCC. He is working on a project that aims to characterise problematic polypharmacy in older people attending general practice, as part of a Health Research Board (HRB) funded grant awarded to Prof Emma Wallace. Steven's research interests include integrated care, life course epidemiology and musculoskeletal pain. He graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Athletic Therapy from DCU in 2014. He has been working in the physio industry in private practice for over 10 years. Steven then received a First Class Honours on completion of his MPH in 2023 in UCC. His thesis titled "sociodemographic drivers of sustainable diet knowledge and affordability" involved a secondary analysis of a Safefood survey on the island of Ireland.

Research Interests

Steven's research interests include integrated care, life course epidemiology and musculoskeletal pain.
