Biography
Tomasz Piwonski is a Senior Staff Researcher in the Advanced Packaging Group at Tyndall. His activities include studies on semiconductor swept-source lasers for Optical Coherence Tomography applications (SFI/CDA/2016 grant). He has also been involved in studies on the dynamical properties of III-V lasers and amplifiers, as well as investigations of other material systems such as antimonide-based structures. He is experienced in the use of various advanced experimental techniques, including ultrafast differential spectroscopy, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, and time-resolved photoluminescence. He also has experience in the fabrication of III-V devices. He has published 31 peer-reviewed articles in international journals.
