Dr. Ultan Sherman (C.Psychol., Ps.S.I) is Senior Lecturer in Organisational Behaviour and Human Resource Management. His research interests lie broadly in the relationship between work and psychology with specific focus on the psychological contract. He is Associate Editor of Group & Organization Management Journal. His research has been published in leading international journals such as Journal of Organizational Behavior, Human Resource Management Journal, Human Resource Management, Group & Organization Management, European Journal of Work & Organizational Psychology, and International Journal of Human Resource Management. A Chartered Psychologist with The Psychological Society of Ireland, Ultan has worked with individuals and organisations in many areas of work psychology including psychometrics and wellbeing.

My research interests lie at the intersection between psychology and work, with specific focus on the psychological contract. Currently, I am conducting research on chronic illness in the workplace, AI in working relationships, and multi-party employment exchanges.

I teach a number of modules in the Organisational Behaviour and Human Resource Management fields. Modules include MG2001: People & Organisation (undergraduate progammes); MG6828: Psychology at Work (MSc HRM); MG6508: Organisational Behaviour (MBA); MG6020: Changing Leading & Developing Organisation (MA Work & Organisational Psychology)
