The annual UCC Research & Innovation Awards embrace and celebrate our researchers who have made exceptional and impactful research and innovation contributions, pushing boundaries, enhancing knowledge and raising the national and international research profile of UCC.
Through this award, the UCC President honours university researchers and/or research teams whose research drives the sustainability agenda and progresses UCC’s leadership in this space.
The Imagining 2050 research project, coordinated by Dr Gerard Mullally, was the recipient of the inaugural award for embedding sustainability in research and impacting the SDGs.
