Abstract

Given the increasing prevalence of dementia within Ireland, there is a need to prepare future occupational therapists to work with older adults with dementia. This study aims to explore the knowledge and attitudes of undergraduate occupational therapy students in Ireland towards older people with dementia and related factors such as year of study, personal and placement dementia experiences, and future career choice.
