Abstract

Vertical Cavity Surface Emitting Lasers make excellent candidates for highly parallel data communication links. We present results of temperature insensitive operation of highly uniform, top emitting, intra-cavity contacted vertical cavity surface emitting lasers arrays at gigabit modulation speeds.
