Abstract

We experimentally demonstrate a simple straight-line configuration of Stokes vector modulator with two cascaded phase modulators. Three-dimensional 8-ary Stokes-vector-modulated signal is generated at 30 Gb/s and transmitted over a 50-km dispersion-compensated single-mode fiber.
