Abstract
The Internet of Vehicles (IoV) is driving the development of Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) through efficient information interaction. Due to the high mobility of vehicle nodes, the IoV faces significant challenges such as scalability and rapid changes of network topology. IoV clustering is an effective way to reduce wireless channel contention in large-scale scenarios. However, existing schemes are poorly suited to high-speed mobile environments. This motivates us to combine the mobility of vehicles with cluster distances to achieve the minimum and stable clusters. A novel clustering method based on swarm intelligence optimization is proposed, which dynamically updates solutions to determine the best clustering solutions. The simulation results validate the effectiveness of the proposed method in reducing communication costs and enhancing cluster stability.
