A sense-making approach to agile method adoption

Abstract

As is often argued in the diffusion of innovation literature, the adoption of innovations can be hindered by the learning required to successfully deploy the technology or methodology. This paper reports on a research in progress to develop a novel approach to Agile method adoption and introduces the use of sense-making workshops to facilitate improved understanding of the issues concerning Agile adoption.
