Abstract

AI-LIEN is a learning analytics tool to ingest, integrate, and analyse weekly SHLAM² (Simple Hermeneutics-inspired Learning Analytics Model for Modules, SATLE 2023) self-reflection student responses (Canvas/MS Forms Quiz data). The AI-LIEN data analytics interactive dashboard allows teachers/students to view individual and/or class progress using various graphs and AI-generated insights. The AI-LIEN tool automates and streamlines the feedback process enabling ‘evidence-based nudges’ and ‘week-on-week comparative analysis’ to improve module level, learner-centric engagement.
