N2 - The optical properties of pig heart tissue were measured after in-vivo ablation therapy. In-vitro samples were subjected to measurements with an optically integrating sphere set-up in the region 470 - 900 nm. The changes, e.g., a 50% increase in scattering, could serve as a basis for a simple detection method to guide the therapy.
