Analyzes reports on dysplasia surveillance to validate the assumption that dysplastic lesions can be detected before invasive cancer has developed. Colonoscopic surveillance as recommended approach to the increased risk of colorectal carcinoma; Need for immediate colectomy for patients diagnosed with dysplasia; Limitations of colonoscopic surveillance.
