Abstract
Cathodoluminescence spectra of the semiconductors (Ba,Ca)Ga2(S,Se)4:(Eu,Ce,Er,Yb) were studied and compared with their photoluminescence spectra. It was found that electron energy was converted most efficiently into light energy by Ba thio-and selenogallate co-doped with Eu and Ce and also by Ca thio-and selenogallate doped only with Eu.
