Coherent comb generation using integrated slotted fabry-perot semiconductor lasers

Abstract

A new photonics integrated circuit for the demultiplexing and amplification of coherent combs is designed and demonstrated. The circuit utilises injection locking as a technique to amplifiy and maintain coherence between optical lines. Coherence between the optical lines of the device is analysed.
