Abstract
Z-scan experiments have been performed on solutions of tBu4PcTiO2-C60 (2) in order to explore a plausible synergistic effect. For comparative purposes we have also measured C60 and tBu4PcTiO (1) derivatives. The results indicate poorer excited-state absorption of dyad 2 than those of the corresponding individual phthalocyanine and fullerene components.
